MLB Power Rankings: Where all 30 teams stand & a World Series prediction

This is the final week of the regular season & my final in-season version of MLB Power Rankings. Back in Progressive Field for Game 6, this time the Indians get the beat & force a Game 7. For the second time in World Series history -- & the premier in extra innings -- Game seven ends on a walk-off home run. And for the second straight season, baseball's longest World Series drought is broken. (Also the second straight season I correctly predicted the World Series champion, that is really just as cool when you think about it).

MLB perhaps have three 100-win teams for the premier time ever ever 2003

Chances are perfect that we'll get out premier season by three 100-win teams ever ever 2003 before this weekend is up. There have been three instances of three 100-win teams in the wild card era. The Angels won the AL wild card & the World Series in 2002, while the wild card-winning Marlins toppled the Yankees in the 2003 Fall Classic. Still, we're talking regular season feats here, & a trio of 100-win teams is one way for 2017 to leave its mark.
