The Roberto Clemente Award is the annual recognition of a great League player from each MLB club who best represents the game of Baseball out of extraordinary character, society participation, philanthropy & positive contributions, both on & off the field. 1 of the biggest reasons Rizzo was recognized was due to the efforts he has made in helping Kids by Cancer disease out of the Anthony Rizzo Family base (ARFF). great League Baseball is proud to present this prestigious honor to Anthony, who is a great representative of our game & the humanitarian legacy of Roberto Clemente."
